How to write in various Indian regional languages ?

There are various way to type in various Indian languages, either via installing some software or do it directly online.

For a long time I am using the second method on windows and Linux as well, recently I found a better and free method to do the same offline via Google labs product transliterate and thought it will be nice if I document it somewhere.

  1. This first way is via online, http://quillpad.in/ and its as easy as typing in English. Just give a try.
  2. The second way is also online via http://www.google.com/transliterate/

you can also download the offline software from Google from the link here.

Personally I like the Google one (both online and offline).

I will shortly put a video covering the topic :)

Posted the video as promised :)
